Meet Dr. Vijay Sandhu
Dr. Vijay Sandhu is a board-certified dermatologist and fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. She completed her Bachelor of Science with Honours at York University, graduating with the Faculty of Science Gold Medal for achieving the highest academic standing across all science disciplines. She went on to earn her Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the University of Toronto, where she also completed her five-year dermatology residency. During her residency, Dr. Sandhu was appointed co-Chief Resident, providing leadership among her peers and contributing to the academic and clinical advancement of the program. Dr. Sandhu has authored numerous publications in peer-reviewed dermatology journals and has presented her research at national and international conferences. Her clinical interests span the full spectrum of dermatology, including inflammatory skin diseases, skin cancer, minor surgical procedures, and cosmetic treatments. Dr. Sandhu is proud to be part of the Elevate Dermatology team, where she is dedicated to delivering personalized, evidence-based care that empowers patients to feel confident in their skin.
