Meet Dr. Juthika Thakur
Dr. Juthika Thakur completed her Bachelor of Medical Sciences degree at Western University, followed by a business degree from the Richard Ivey School of Business, graduating with honours. She went on to earn her medical degree from the Michael G. DeGroote School of Medicine at McMaster University and completed her dermatology residency at the University of Toronto. Before entering clinical practice, Dr. Thakur contributed to the provincial implementation of ConnectingOntario, a major initiative aimed at improving digital health integration across Ontario. She has also consulted with companies developing artificial intelligence technologies in dermatology, reflecting her interest in advancing the future of patient care. Dr. Thakur has presented at national and international conferences and continues to engage in scholarly and industry-related work. She is proud to bring her diverse clinical experience, academic background, and patient-first philosophy to Elevate Dermatology.
